ALPHAGEN – Correctional Food Transport
Trolleys
The Alphagen Correctional System is a
modular rethermalization system, designed specifically for the
correctional market, and consists of three parts - the stationary
retherm and refrigeration docking station, the enclosed, insulated
transport trolley and transfer rack, which the trays are assembled
into.
The trayed meals are loaded into the transport
rack at a central kitchen and transported on the insulated transport
trolley to individual docking stations, which may be located
throughout the facility, or offsite. The transport trolley is
aligned with the docking station, and the transfer rack, with
the assembled meals, is pushed into the docking station.
The food trays are a single piece, with three compartments on
both the hot and cold sides. The trays can be film sealed, or
lidded. No additional handling or assembly is required at the
service point.
